Lakshmi Expands to Kennesaw, Georgia

Great news! Last week we signed a lease at a co-working office in Kennesaw, Georgia.

We’re excited about the new location for several reasons. First, Lakshmi’s mission is about supporting autistic adults. We would like to operate the services that contribute to our mission as we accumulate the funds to do so, rather than waiting until our residential community is fully funded.

In the United States, reliable transportation is a major requirement of any adult with a balanced life. Of the various services we intend to provide, shuttle service seems to be one of the more compelling and feasible at an early stage.

The new office puts us near Kennesaw State University. The University has a program to support educating people with special needs. This year we are seeking partnerships to operate a shuttle for autistic adults to, from and between classes. From there we can learn and possibly expand to provide shuttle service to jobs and for errands.
